This short play was presented during worship on November 9-10 as part of our fall 2024 stewardship campaign "Generous Living - Know Greater Joy". It is the story of nine strangers who find themselves in a lifeboat after their cruise ship has become disabled. In order to safely row to shore, they need to combine their efforts, even though some believe they have little or nothing to contribute. You may think that what you have to offer isn’t much, but God’s math doesn’t just add up, it MULTIPLIES!
God blessed us with a beautiful, sunny day. Almost 60 people were in attendance to enjoy a simple lunch, good conversation and fun activities.

On Sunday March 23, 2025, your Galilee vocal and bell choirs participated in an Interfaith Concert at Congregation Shalom titled “We Come Together”. The concert was made up of about 90 musicians from Galilee Lutheran Church-Pewaukee, Mount Carmel Lutheran Church-Milwaukee, Milwaukee Jewish Community Chorale, First Unitarian Society of Milwaukee and Congregation Shalom-Fox Point. This event was a celebration of the power of words and song in and through the unity of the congregations referenced above and their communities. This is a photo from the concert, and as the final song from the concert “Everyone Sang” stated “The singing will never be done.”
