Our Ministry Coordinators act as the overseer, equipper, consultant, mentor, resource person and communicator of his/her ministry area and teams. Ministry Coordinators are the primary connection between Ministry Teams and the Leadership Board, and are responsible for reporting new happenings, accomplishments, celebrations and areas of concern. Our Ministry Coordinators serve under three primary areas of Welcoming, Equipping, and Sending. Ministry Coordinators volunteer to serve a two-year term, and are eligible to serve a maximum of two-consecutive terms.
Welcoming Ministries ~ Ministries that welcome people to faith in Jesus Christ and into the community at Galilee. Ministry areas supported by Welcoming are: Hospitality, Mentoring and Connecting.
Hospitality ~ Opening Galilee’s doors to welcome people into it’s family. Hospitality Ministries include coordinating meals for special events, Fellowship Coffee Time after Sunday worship services, and maintains supplies for same.
Mentoring ~ Developing leaders in the Galilee Community
Connecting ~ Bringing Galilee’s people of all ages together in social and spiritual fellowship.
Equipping Ministries ~ Ministries that provide tools and resources for a faith that works in real life.
Administration ~ Caring for Galilee’s staff, finances and facilities.
Christian Education and Youth ~
Worship ~ Preparing the sanctuary for weekly and special occasion worship services.
Sending Ministries ~ Ministries that send us into the world to make a difference in Jesus’ name.
Partnerships and Global Gifting ~ Stretching our ministry beyond the local community to offer support on national and global levels.
Compassion Care ~ Caring for the health and being of others by reaching out to those who are experiencing illness, loss, or are home-bound.
