Galilee’s Hat & Mitten Tree | THROUGH Sun, Dec 6
We will once again be collecting hats, mittens, gloves, scarves and gently used coats for low-income families, to be distributed via Outreach for Hope and Hope Center and The Women’s Center Waukesha. Please consider helping to keep our brothers and sisters warm this winter season by leaving donations at the at the Hat & Mitten Tree set-up in the narthex!

angel tree donations | Due Sun, Dec 14
Galilee once again is supporting La Casa de Esperanza Daycare in Waukesha holiday gift giving program. Please consider taking a tag from the Angel Tree to add a gift for one of the children at La Casa to brighten up their Christmas season.
Wrapped gifts should be returned to the Angel Tree no later than Sunday, December 14th.

chili lunch / caroling | kirkland crossing | sun, dec 7 Noon
Come and share a bit of cheer with the residents at Kirkland Crossing. We will gather in the lower level fellowship hall at noon for a chili lunch (chili provided). Sign up in the narthex to sing and bring either a chili topping, dessert or beverage.
After lunch we will go to Kirkland Crossing and sing with Pastor Frank Janzow a selection of Christmas Carols. Caroling booklets will be provided. Contact Patricia DeBlaey patricia@galileelc.org for more information!

You are cordially invited to the Women’s Advent party on Tuesday, December 9th at 6pm in the Gathering Place for a night of laughter, fun, fellowship and singing Christmas Carols! Please bring an appetizer or dessert (beverages are provided).
2025 secret prayer pals will be revealed, and their gifts exchanged. If you wish to participate in the coming year, you can choose a secret prayer pal for 2026. Rides will be available for those who wish to attend but have no other means of transportation.
We will also be collecting items for The Women’s Center. Please bring any of the items unwrapped.

This year we will have an opportunity for congregation members to read the whole bible in a year. We will all read on our own, but each week Pastor Amanda will post a prompt on Facebook where we can connect with one another about the reading we have been doing. We will be following the Bible Project's "Read the Bible in One Year" reading plan (download a pdf of the readings at https://bibleproject.com/reading-plans/).
