Job Opening | Part-time Financial Assistant
Galilee Lutheran Church is a vibrant congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America located in Pewaukee, WI, with a weekly worship attendance of 113. Our mission is “Walking with Jesus, and sharing God’s love and grace by serving all faithfully.” We are seeking a Financial Assistant to coordinate and organize the financial operations of the congregation. The Financial Assistant will work closely with the congregational Treasurer, and reports to the Pastor. More information on the position and responsibilities can be found in the job description. The 2025 Pewaukee Farmers Market season kicks off with a great line-up of vendors, food trucks and music! New this year is a kid's activity tent!

Go-Getters Worship & Lunch | Thurs, Sept 11 @ 11:30am
All are welcome to Galilee's Go-Getters' worship service on the second Thursday of every month. Following the worship service, a pot-lunch is served. Zoom Prayer Service with Diocese of Meru | Sat, Sept 13
Every September, Partners with Meru of the Greater Milwaukee Synod and the Diocese of Meru hold a joint prayer service via Zoom in preparation of our Common Day of Prayer in September.

Kim's Table at St. Paul's | Wed, September 17
Carpool From Galilee at 10:35 am
Join our siblings in Christ at Galilee's Urban Partner, St. Paul's Lutheran-Milwaukee, for Kim's Table. We will be distributing a bagged lunch, hygiene packs, socks and (hopefully) clothing from New Threads of Hope.
St. Paul's is located at 28th & Wisconsin Avenues.

Outreach Meal | Friday, September 19
Galilee will be serving the hot Hope Center Outreach Meal for 90-100 guests at Hope Center on Friday, September 19 from 5:00pm - 7:00pm. Guests include the homeless, those living in rooming houses or shelters, families trying to stretch their budget, and elderly people on fixed income, many of whom are physically and/or mentally impaired.
