Meru Mission Trip 2025 ~ Fill The Suitcases
Pastor Amanda and Deb Kohler are joining the Greater Milwaukee Synod delegation traveling to the Diocese of Meru (Tanzania, Africa) departing Tuesday, January 21. Each member of the eighteen-person delegation can check two bags to transport high-need items which will be donated to the Diocese of Meru education and medical ministries.
Should you wish to help fill the suitcases, please consider a donation of any of the items listed on the “Meru Mission Trip 2025 - Fill The Suitcase Wish List”. Items should be dropped off or delivered to Galilee by noon on Sunday, January 12th.
Many items can be purchased in Tanzania like “Exercise” (notebooks) & textbooks used by schools and prescription medication used by the hospital. Should you wish to make a monetary donation towards the ministry gifts, make your check payable to the Greater Milwaukee Synod and enter “Meru Delegation 2025 Gifting” in the memo section. Checks can be placed in the basket by the suitcases in the Narthex through Sunday, January 12.
Asante Sana! (Thank you!) to everyone who donated suitcases, which will be left in Tanzania for a future delegation coming to Wisconsin. Suitcases (ok if they are in rough shape, as long as their zippers work) are being collected through Sunday, January 5.

All are welcome to Galilee's Go-Getters' worship service on the second Thursday of every month. Following the worship service, a pot-lunch is served.
